Installation
This guide describes how to configure the CIDgravity app for Nextcloud to onboard data to Filecoin. Below are step-by-step screenshots documenting the installation process.

1. Create Your CIDgravity Account
1.1 Open the Registration Page
Use a web browser to access: https://nextcloud.twinquasar.io
1.2 Click the “Register” Link
1.3 Enter Your Email Address
Then request a verification code.
1.4 Enter the Verification Code
Check your inbox, enter the code, and click Verify.
1.5 Complete the Registration Form
Confirm your username, full name, and password, then click Create Account.
1.6 You Are Now Logged In
You may log out and close this page.
2. Configure Your Dedicated Nextcloud Instance as a Relay
2.1 Create an Admin Account
Set a username and password, then click Install.
2.2 Skip Recommended Apps
They are not required for CIDgravity.
2.3 Open the “Apps” Menu (Top Right)
2.4 Open the “Disabled Apps” Menu (Left Sidebar)
2.5 Enable “External Storage Support”
Click the Enable button next to the app.
2.6 Open the App Search Menu (Left Sidebar)
2.7 Search for the “CIDgravity” App
2.8 Install the CIDgravity App
Click Download and Enable next to “CIDgravity – IPFS/Filecoin External Storage”.
2.9 Open Administration Settings (Top Right Menu)
2.10 Go to “External Storage” in the Left Sidebar
2.11 Fill in the Folder and Credentials
Enter the folder name and credentials from https://nextcloud.twinquasar.io.
Optionally check “All users” to share access, then click the validation checkmark.
2.12 Confirm with Your Account Password
Nextcloud asks for it to apply changes.
2.13 Look for the Green Arrow
It confirms authentication and access was successful.
3. Upload a File and Access CIDgravity Metadata
3.1 Open the “Files” Menu (Top Left)
3.2 Enter the CIDgravity Folder
Click the folder name you created in external storage.
3.3 Upload a File
Click the New button and select Upload file.
3.4 Open File Details
After upload, click the … menu next to the file, then choose Open details.
3.5 View CIDgravity Metadata
You’ll see fields like CID, Status, and Replication progress.
